In anticipation of the new Gossip Girl season slowly approaching....

Love Love Love this stunning black and white photo of Blake...although I prefer Blair on the show ;)

Cocktail of the Moment

Peach Bellini

This is one of my ultimate favorite drinks as I have a close relationship with champagne :) ...and no I am NOT a boozer!

Mix together:

6oz Pink Champagne

1oz Peach Schnapps

1oz Peach juice

Shake in a martini shaker with ice, and serve in a flute! Viola!

Fall is Approaching!

As much as I love the summer..I have to face the facts that Fall is indeed approaching (even though the warm days here were very short lived!). So in order to get me excited and inspired for this fall season I made a list of things I'm looking forward to to keep my head up!

1. The new season of Gossip girl :)

2. Being closer to GRADUATING!!

3. The purdy fall leaves

4. Cold weather= more herbal teas, lattes and baking :)

5. New fall fashion and wardrobe- Boots!

What are you looking forward to?

My current read of the month

The latest book Ive picked up is Russell Simmonds "Do You" a motivational book on how to live a purpose filled, happy life. It's got a hip hop twist to it with some of Rus's personal journeys. Check it out if you want to be inspired...

My next book will be "Eat Pray Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. My mother didnt enjoy this book and thought it was a little out there, but I tend to look outside of the box-so I may enjoy this zany read!

Tiffany & Co.

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the 5TH Ave. Tiffanys in New York City this past winter. The store is absolutely magical, from their little robin egg blue boxes to all the diamonds, platinum, and jewels galore.

Here are a few treasures I'd love to add to my collection (preferably the plain gold one..Ive wanted it since April!!):

Current Issue of the moment.....P.M.S.

I was feeling stressed, over emotional and sappy, and just doubting things for no apparent reason. I could only blame my irrational thoughts on one thing...PMS.

That's when I decided that any crazy thoughts that popped into my head I could not be held accountable for....and I could not actually take seriously. Therefore I decided that I was not to call my love interest until after this PMS period is over...that way I don't take anything he says out of proportion..which with me, my neurotic self..was bound to happen.

So ladies...I'm here to save you (or at least help!) with a few Beat the PMS Blues tips:

1. Work out! Sweating out the stress can help reduce water retention during PMS and induce feel good horomones you get from exercise!

2. Reduce your sugar, salt and caffiene intake. Instad stick to fruit, veggies and whole grains.

3. Making sure you consume iron rich foods to compensate for your loss of blood.

4. And one trick that calms me..a warm blanket (or evena hot water bottle), herbal tea, yoga, and a good flick :)
